just wow! We were recommended by some friends to stay at Salvadonica after they happened to drive by and stop for lunch last summer. Our experience was incredible! The staff was so welcoming and helpful! Truly so kind it was such a warm welcome!! The grounds were absolutely stunning. So well maintained a taken care of. Salvadonica also has tennis courts, bocce ball, hotel run activities / excursions, and the most serene pool (at which you can order drinks to from your phone). We had dinner at the restaurant too and had an amazing dinner. I would recommend the wild boar pasta & pesto gnocchi. The breakfast buffet was also one of my favs! It was a rainy morning which actually made for such a cozy, peaceful atmosphere in the windowed room. Loved the local jams & honey! Other complaint is from my husband who said the beds weren’t super comfortable, but he has a high standard there so take w a grain of salt. Some other recs if anyone is curious: Truffle Hunting / Cooking Class nearby at Cucina Giuseppina (a highlight of the trip!), wine tasting at Ruffino, wine tasting at Bosco Castiglion, & travel to Montepulciano. For reference, we stayed here in mid September 2024.

The breakfast and morning staff were amazing. The service was excellent. Every single morning, we were greeted with a smile from each and every one of the staff. The breakfast options were more than sufficient and very delicious. The service and food in the evening, also outstanding. Serving large groups, such as ours can be challenging at times and 9 out of 10 times, the evening staff totally outdid themselves. Courteous, professional, explained dishes, gave suggestions, so very polite. Magnificent evening service staff and the food was always so good- as was the wine. Our group took a cooking class that was also so fun and informative. I had one of the best rejuvenating massages ever. The staff in reception went above and beyond to answer all of our many questions. All of them were so helpful and courteous. Housekeeping. I can not say enough about the housekeeping staff as well. Excellent. Excellent. Excellent - every single day- My husband and I used their shuttle service last day and the driver was very informative, well spoken, kind and a good driver! Very enjoyable drive to Florence airport.

First, the staff was all very friendly and helpful. I woke up with the most beautiful morning in Tuscany having great locally sourced breakfast. The facility has an expansive area that is very photogenic. They make their own EVOO and Chianti that are excellent. I mean they are really good (get Riserva Chianti). Don't miss the spectacular sunset by the pool. You must have at least one dinner at their restaurant. Food, especially pasta and braised meat, was fantastic. Better than most restaurants in the area and in Florence. There are many activities to do in the resort. I did the cooking class and it was fun and delicious.

Truly beautiful property in Chianti, the breakfast was delicious every day there were a few changes to the pastries. We stayed here 4 nights and had dinner at the restaurant twice, the staff is very kind and professional. There are lots of vegetarian options. The property gets a great view of the sunset and there are so many beautiful views. We did day trips to Siena and San Gimignano, as well as a few wine tours/tastings while staying here. Sadly it was too chilly to use the pool when we were staying here but it looked beautiful!
